First Graders learned about the artist James Rizzi. He is famous for his whimsical paintings of Cityscapes. The first graders learned about the concept of overlapping a way to show space in a picture. The created their own cityscapes using overlapping and expressions. All of their buildings had to have a  face and windows. They are so creative and their drawings are super fun!
