A Surrealist Game

Surrealism is an artistic  movement where artists take every day objects and arrange them in impossible ways

Here are paintings from  two of the most famous surrealist artists
This is by the artist Rene Magritte

This is by the artist Salvador Dali

This game is something you can play with your family. The supplies you will need are a piece of paper and a pencil. You could add color with any supply if you want.

Step 1. Fold your paper into 3rds. You can have one piece of paper for each family member or just one it's up to you.

Step 2. The first person draws in the first section and into about one eight of the next section, so that when the paper is folded back, the next person can only see a little bit of the first drawing.

Step 3. Using the lines that the first person left for you to see connect and create the middle section.
Step 4. Using the lines the 2nd person left for you to connect and create the bottom section.
Step 5. Open up the paper. Add color or tell a story about your creation.
