Homemade Play Dough

I miss clay so much! Here's another great way to make 3-D creations.

Homemade Play Dough

This recipe is great. I actually like it better than store bought play dough, it crumbles less!
You may not have all the ingredients in your home but maybe on your next journey to acquire groceries you could pick up what you need.

1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons cream or tartar or alum
1 tablespoon oil
food coloring (optional)
essential oil (optional)

Mix together and cook until it starts to clump together. Put on a plate or piece of wax paper to cool. Mix in food coloring if you wish.

Here are some pictures of my daughter Josie and I making the play dough.  I recommend parental supervision!
one cup flour

one cup water

1/2 cup salt

2 TBS cream of tarter or Alum

1TBS oil

Here's where parental supervision is important.

Turn the stove on medium low and stir making sure the bottom doesn't burn.

Add essential oil so it smells great!

Add food coloring if desired. You could always paint when dry.

Mix mix mix we recommend gloves because our fingers got a little stained.

You all know I love the Rainbow!

Have fun I hope you can share your creations with me! Here at this album  https://photos.app.goo.gl/k6GpNfrLtU1Wy6Xn7
